Our recent dinner was absolutely DELICIOUS. Highly recommend the nacho starter, which we shared between 3 of us and was almost a meal in itself! We were made to feel most welcome in this cozy and creative eatery. The food is exceptional value for money- we ate at many restaurants in Plett and found this to be the most flavourful and reasonable of all! Look forward to returning and trying the other delicious offerings. (Try to book in advance, as it was full on the day I called and full too, on the night we ate. A good sign!)

Friendly and helpful waiter and owner. We were checked on regularly and the service was quick. The food was mouth watering . We had nachos and pulled pork. For sure the most amazing pulled pork ever. The food and drinks are reasonably priced and the atmosphere is a true Mexican vibe. Highly recommend the restaurant we had a great time.

Great food, good pricing and lovely service. The portion size is a bit small in South African standard, but the taste overruled :)

Here is the second review after our three weeks in Plett. Over the past several years we have enjoyed (and written about) the Golden Palm restaurant, which was initially in town but moved a few years back to just below the Fat Fish, across the lagoon from the Beacon Island. Their bowls, poke and Itami, as well as their dim sum and potstickers were favourites. So imagine our disappointment last year when we walked across and they were gone! The place was empty Now imagine our excitement to find a new Mexican restaurant there and to top it all, the familiar smiling face of Rob, who owned the Golden Palm! Welcome to Ke Pasa, which we were told was slang for "¿Qué pasa?", meaning what's up? Since we both love Mexican food, me a little spicier than my wife, and it was an easy walk there, we were determined to try as much of the menu as possible This menu has all the usual types of tortillas and other Mexican treats plus an intriguing section titled "Mexican Inspired Gringo Main Courses". One example is lamb chops in a smokey lemon, chilli, garlic and tequila marinade, served with charred corn on the cob, chunky chips and grilled limes. Sadly we never got around to trying any Gringo dishes as we were too busy eating Mexican. Here's a rundown of what we did have, with photos. Chilli prawn tostados- 4 small round crispy tortillas with small prawns, guacamole, salsa, sour cream; all for R89! Pedazos starter plate, with nachos carne, 2 delicious jalapeno poppers, 2 chicken taquitos, 2 pulled pork tostades, guacamole. We had enchiladas and burritos and various hard and soft tacos, but rather than describe everything we ate in detail I'll put up the photos. Honestly, everything we had was delicious, which is why we ate there six times. My wife's favourite was the hard tacos with crispy fried fish and a garlic lime mayo. Mine was everything. I must mention the home made jalapeno sauce. The best chilli-type sauce I have ever had. It's the green one in some of the photos. Unfortunately it's a secret recipe
